Q QuietBrowse

Support

QuietBrowse, trading as Quiet Browse. Last updated 26 September 2026.

Getting started

QuietBrowse is supported in Chrome and Edge today. Open the browser’s Extensions menu, pin QuietBrowse, select its Q, paste your activation code under Pro and select Activate. Leave Protection on for everyday browsing; Pro extras are optional.

Moving browsers or computers

Before you move, open QuietBrowse in your current browser and select Release licence from this browser. Then install QuietBrowse in the new browser and activate it with the same code. Release the licence before you start using the new browser.

Video and cookies

Video ad assistance is on by default when you activate Pro. It currently works on YouTube by trying Skip when offered and shortening some detected ad interruptions. We continue to review support for other streaming sites. It does not speed up the video you choose or block every advert. Cookie handling chooses only a clearly offered reject or necessary-only choice; required decisions remain yours. We regularly refine both features as websites change.

Checkout or menu not working?

Open the Q on that site and select Site not working? Pause here. The page reloads automatically. Try the card check, sign-in or dropdown again, and check the address bar before entering details. To turn protection back on, choose Resume protection on this site. If the problem remains while paused, the site or another extension may be responsible.

Lost activation code

Contact us from the checkout email and include your invoice or subscription reference. For a verified active subscription, we can resend the activation email or help release an old browser. This is not available for expired, refunded or charged-back subscriptions. Never email the full code.

Contact

Email quietbrowse@proton.me. Include your browser and QuietBrowse versions, the affected domain, whether Pro was enabled, and a screenshot with personal and payment information removed. Never send payment details, passwords or codes.
